I recently refinanced with Chris Totani and his team at Rate. It was after a particularly ugly, difficult 3.5 year divorce and everything that goes with that. I needed to get my ex’s name off the mortgage, and while I had time to do it, rates were climbing and the market uncertain, and my approval near my top end. Everyone was on point, efficient, and straight forward. No games. No bait and switch. They far exceeded any other lenders efforts out there, including big name banks. I wish i could list all the people, but in particular, Chris Totani, Jeff (with Rate insurance), Kristy Wyatt, and Michelle Mohler (“Shelly”). Omg, Michelle answered or returned Every. Single. Call. Even after hours. Im forever grateful. Thank you, would utilize Rate again. I do believe I closed in under a month once approved, and the application was around June 12, and closing was August 26.
