Derek has really good answers to all of my questions and proactively works to solve our problems in a way that meets our constraints. Did I mention fast? After speaking to another lender, I didn't expect to be able to afford this house. I explained my situation to Derek, and we had 2 quotes that met our constraints the next morning. Somehow, we were able to put together an offer we could afford and get it to the seller the next day. A flurry of emails, texts, phone calls, and documents between meetings at work and in the evenings, and Derek and his team worked with us and our realtor, quickly and effectively guiding us through the whole process. Our offer was first in a line of 4, by a matter of hours - maybe even just minutes. If we hadn't been able to move quickly, we would not have gotten our dream house.
