Eric was always available to share his knowledge and wisdom of the market by sharing financial indicators that would affect us during a new construction build, advising on the best way to navigate a somewhat turbulent mortgage rate environment, and explaining complex financial concepts in easy to understand layman's terms. Eric set up weekly calls with me while I was under building contract so we could watch rates before I locked my rate, paying close attention and sharing his keen market analysis. It is not often you experience someone that not only has top-notch technical (hard) skills, but is also a pro at people (soft) skills. Not only would I recommend Eric to my close family and friends, I would seriously encourage them to not go with another mortgage lender. This type of customer service experience is not common in this day and age.

He also "held my hand" during the process as this was the first time I bought a house and I had so many questions and general worry about the entire process. His team was able to keep the process moving and it didn't feel like things ever stalled out. A big part of that was the amount of communication between me and the team and being very clear about the information they needed from me in order to get this loan completed. He also offered to look over other lenders offers and in doing so, found some questionable fees and costs that he suggested I ask about -- but didn't do the hard sell about finding them, just in the 'hey, you might want to ask about this and this' and let me discover that I was about to get overcharged by other lenders because of my lack of knowledge.
