I use to work for Shea Homes in Northern California it was a Great Company. The Experience with KB from Start to Finish was EXCELLENT Starting with Sales Kristen Gantenbein and Pat very informative, Happy, Pleasant easy to work with and very willing to help in any way that they both could. When Kristen was off Pat was always willing to help and take the time to find out what she could even though Kristen was the one taking care of us. Kristen was hands on with us always keeping us posted and updated and sending us pictures of our home. We greatly appreciated the pictures and all of the updates.
Ramon Mendoza was A+ from the moment he contacted us for our first appt to mid January when he was transferred he was on top of EVERYTHING. He also gave us weekly updates via email on Fridays. We looked forward to hearing what was going on with our home. His multitasking skills with all of his updates were to be admired. Always on top of things. He definitely knew his stuff. As for Robert when he took over we really had very little we had to interact with him about, but when we did he was on it and quick to respond or find out what we needed to know. As for our Loan part we had begun with Debra Stewart but someone very close to us had recommended someone else we were torn between Debra and our Friends Referral. We stupidly made the wrong choice and went with our friends referral. It was a nightmare from June to beginning of January with him. He promised the world and at the end wanted us to bring in almost 15K more to closing. Money that we told him we did not have for closing. I cryed and prayed and decided to email Debra Stewart on Thursday 1/5/23 I emailed Debra and I received her auto reply that she would contact me on Friday. Which in fact she did via email. I briefly told her that we were in a bad situation with our mortgage person and wanted to know if it was too late for her to run some numbers and see if we could go with her for our KB Loan. She set up a phone appt with me for Saturday 1/7 in the morning. I spoke to her told her my sad story and she understood. She took all my information and said she would get back to me in the evening after I got home from Church. She had requested our file back and was waiting for it. Sure enough Debra called us around 7 pm Saturday 1/7/23 and gave us not good new but GREAT news that she would be able to help us and the numbers for closing were exactly what we wanted originally. She was even able to give us an additional $3K to close after speaking to upper management. My sister and I were speechless and over the moon. First thing Monday Morning I began to receive emails from Rosanna Almenanza regarding our loan papers. She was on it. She took everything in stride and kept in constant contact of what she needed for underwriting and she was on the go go go. Always with such great service and never missing a beat. If I did not understand something she would call me and take the time to explain to me what she needed or with an update. We just had our walk through with AJ our Customer Service Rep. He was very thorough and very willing to explain anything we had questions on. He was very inviting to if we had had any questions, problems or concerns to reach out to him. We said goodbye to Robert as we were leaving the walk through. He also said anything we needed to contact him. From start to finish this KB Experience has been the BEST. I cannot say enough great things about KB. PS I forgot to mention we even got KB Home Insurance from Marcus he was also very helpful and quick to respond to my emails. You have a Big Fan of KB not to mention and firm believer that Customer Service is Alive and Kicking in KB Homes.. Thank you for this great experience we really truly appreciate it. I have a suggestion. How about KB giving each of these wonderful employees a RAISE or at least a nice BONUS. They all are a piece of KB. They made KB SHINE :) Anita Rodrig
