Michael went above and beyond to serve our mutual client, and I am happy to give him praise. Michael and I have been in communication for some time, and as most Realtors do, I can say I have lenders I refer clients to regularly. I connected Michael with my client who was having some challenges getting where he needed to be on specific loan approvals. Michael worked very hard to dig into this specific scenario and called me when he had a product that could work for my client. My client also had been working with another lender for some time, and we compared what Michael was offering and the other lender. All in all, Michael was told by my client that he wasn't going to be moving forward with him. Michael assured both of us that what he had was overall better for my client, and relayed he would still work on my clients package in the instance something didn't add up further down the line. Low and behold, we were in escrow and well down the line when my client called and said Michael was saving him substantial money compared to the lender currently on the deal. We never had to follow up or wonder where things were at — they were already ahead of it. He’s super responsive and patient (I can get into the weeds and ask a bazillion unnecessary questions) but honestly, he was so proactive in his communication that we always knew what was happening.
He even called every Tuesday with an update (whether there was news or not), which we appreciate.
Another thing to note is that our loan was actually pretty small because we put a big chunk down, but I feel like he still gave us the same attention and care that he would've on a bigger loan. That showed me he really values people and relationships, not just numbers.
