My wife and I recently purchased our first home. As first time home buyers, we were pretty intimidated by the process—we had thought for a long time that we would never be able to own a home. Don and his team did an amazing job supporting us and walking us through every step. And while I wholeheartedly believe we had great service at every stage of the process, there are a few places I want to single out as being exceptional.
First, Don and his team at Shore United took every concern and question we had seriously. He patiently explained unfamiliar concepts, provided explanations of confusing terms, and always gave us a clear idea of what to expect next. The team excelled at timely communication and provided helpful reminders.
Second, Don and his team were proactive and responsive in addressing our unique needs. My wife and I are both college professors, and our contracts and pay schedules can look odd to someone not familiar with that industry. Don did an excellent job contextualizing our situation for lenders and advocating for us.
Finally, Don and Shore United worked to connect us with state and local programs that could provide the best mortgage and down payment assistance to help us make an offer on our home. Their work in this regard was what finally made my wife and I feel we were ready and equipped to be homeowners.

We were first time home buyers and Don saved the day after a bad experience with another agent! We started using the Mortgage Agent that our realtor suggested. That agent was a nightmare. For starters, he was pushing us towards an FHA loan even though we were eligible for Conventional. He told us FHA would save us much more money. My online research was telling me otherwise so we decided to seek a second opinion. This agent also would miss e-mails and take days to get us simple documents. It was incredibly frustrating and worrisome.
A friend recommended Don and thank god he did. It turned out that the Conventional loan was the better option across the board. Not even close. Additionally, Don was always very responsive. He would follow-up with us over everything and really made sure we understood everything. I highly recommend Don to anyone buying a house. You won't regret it
