“David really came through for us when it mattered and we would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone we know. He got our jumbo loan in 4 weeks after another lender failed.”
We had trouble getting a jumbo loan from another company (rhymes with "sicken") and we came to David having gone through a lot of heartache. We were not an easy case because of a rental properties we own. This is what got us in trouble with underwriting with our previous lender. We explained the problem to David and he said that being at smaller bank meant that he could talk to underwriting and explain the situation (rental properties were selling soon) and would get them to look past the issues we had with our previous lender. We got questions from underwriting and started worrying we were having deja vu, but true to his word David was able to explain it to underwriting and we got our loan in time for our closing. He did this in 4 weeks when our previous lender took 8 and ended up turning us down. David really came through for us when it mattered and we would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone we know.

Dave and his team did an excellent job and got me out of a bad situation with another broker at the last minute. They were able to complete my loan in a little over 2 weeks. The other broker was not upfront about his fees, increased them (both the APR and Points) when he gave me the "final disclosure", increased my down payment amount by $67,000 because he said my debt to equity ratio was too high and didn't realize the Jumbo loan threshold was increased. Dave kept my loan to the original 25% down that I had requested, offered that I could go as low as 20% if I wanted to. He kept up with loan regulations and knew the jumbo threshold for 2020 was increased. Dave was able to calculate my debt to equity ratio accurately. I am self employed and work with real estate investments so that can get complicated. He quoted me a lower interest rate, told me what the cost in fees and the APR would be and delivered on those rates. Dave and his team were able to deliver the loan and closing on time.
I would definitely recommend Dave and his team at USBank if you are shopping for Mortgage Loan Services and would happily work with him again.

What can I not say about Dave?! He's responsive to my clients, provides timely pre-approvals (even when I need one within the hour) and always up to date on the latest home financing incentives and programs.
I'm always on the go with clients, it's a matter of minutes for a great property to fall through one's hands if you don't have the right loan officer by your side. Some bankers work for you and some work for the corporation. Buyers have options, why not choose someone who cares about making things work for you?

Mr. Ratke made mortgaga refinancing, which is generally a pretty stressful process, smooth and relatively eazy for us. He walked us throgh the procedure step by step always explainig what was going on and what would follow. I asked for a couple of various options and he provided us with accurate and precise data. He was also responsive to pjr request to switch from one option to another one which helped us to save a couple of thusands on long run. We finally closed with raughly same monthly payment but with almost halved life of the loan.
