Steve from the very beginning was incredible. We had no idea if we could even buy a home and were putting out feelers to educate ourselves. A lot of people would've brushed us off as we weren't serious at the time, but Steve walked us throught the entire process, and what we needed to realistically get in a home. No hard sells, no nonsense just knowledge, and he had a lot of it. 9 months later when we were finally ready, Steve literally stayed up until midnight to take our calls in order to close our deal. Buying a home is a long and stressful process and his team behind him was just as patient, thoughtful and empathetic. If you're thinking about going with a different loan officer, don't!

Loan was completed and funded just fine. Process was cumbersome, but that is not the lender's fault - blame the government for a 280 page signing package, all of which was done by hand,, ugh. I gave Rate a 9 instead of 10, because they made a drafting mistake on our address, and caused us to have to sign revised docs, plus drive to a fedex location.
