This review is long overdue! We've now worked with Kyle Kelly and his team at Citywide on two short-term rental properties, and I can't say enough good things about them!
Our first property was anything but straightforward, but Kyle, Max, and the rest of the team made the entire process feel easy. They navigated every challenge, kept things moving, and most importantly, got us to the closing table on time.
For property number two, we made the mistake of shopping rates and going with another lender who, unfortunately, wasn't nearly as familiar with the STR market or DSCR loans. When things started falling apart at the eleventh hour, we turned back to Kyle, and he and his team absolutely saved the day!
What impressed me most was that Kyle had actually anticipated some of the issues we might run into and had already done the legwork behind the scenes, just in case. That kind of foresight, experience, and dedication is hard to find. Despite coming in at the last minute, they pulled everything together and, once again, we closed on time!
Kyle is an absolute wealth of knowledge, especially when it comes to investment properties, STRs, and DSCR financing. He's proactive, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure his clients succeed. Max and the entire team are equally fantastic.
Lesson learned: Sometimes the best rate isn't the best deal. Having the right people in your corner is worth so much more.

Kyle was absolutely the best loan officer for securing our mortgage. He sought to understand some of the complexities of both our purchase (this was for a 2nd home) and our financial situation (we have a mix of traditional income, self employed income, and deferred compensation). He was very willing to understand and align on goals we set for the transaction, and he worked incredibly hard to find ways to meet those goals. I'm sure he would work out great for a highly traditional transaction (he had access to great rates and low fees) but he was absolutely outstanding for our complex situation. Loan closed on time, he ensured all details were handled properly and any hiccups that popped up (and there are always some!) - he was quick on responses and had solid solutions. Very highly recommended - he made one of the more painful aspects of real estate transactions an absolute pleasure.
