Mr. Woods is a no nonsense, get it done professional. I recently used his services for my Client that was Pre-approved for a loan over million dollars. He step by step informed my Client through the entire process. At a point unfortunately the process became very challenging with the Builders lender. Unexpectedly per the Builder's decision, the requirements and dynamics changed on their pre-approval for my Client's home. My Client was told "Take it or Leave it" these are your terms. They also demanded that the loan be closed in ten days, after an arduous thirty-two completetion period during the holidays. Well I spoke to my client. I recommended that we switch lenders and he agreed. The builder demanded that we close in ten days. CHRIS WOODS CLOSED IT IN SIX ❗I highly recommend Mr. Woods. He is a Loan official that stands by his word and he does what he says he is going to do. I look forward to working with him in the future.

After years of living in the city, my wife and I decided to make the move to the suburbs after we had our first kid. As a veteran, I was eligible for a VA-backed home loan which I wanted to use for our new home. After our offer was accepted, we were concerned about closing in time because the VA has strict health and safety requirements for a property before it will back a home loan. Chris and his team at Rate came highly recommended from a good friend who had utilized Chris and his team for his own VA home loan purchase. Chris and his team exceeded all expectations. Chris not only offered me a very competitive rate, he repeatedly reassured me that we would make a 30-day closing which I understood to be fairly aggressive even for a conventional loan. Even though the VA threw a couple curve balls (e.g. sweeping up paint chips at the property days before closing so the VA could approve the loan), Chris and his team were one step ahead and moved quickly to ensure that we met our closing date. Throughout this process, Chris was responsive and knowledgeable, and I'd recommend him for anyone else looking for a professional to handle their home loan, VA or conventional
