Awesome service. Top notch IT interface.

Aside from a few miscommunications and resulting slow downs, we are very happy with the way things went. Amber Arwine was very professional and helpful. Working with her team, she kept things moving as best she could. The demand for documents seems excessive at times, and on a couple of points, the process could have been more clearly explained and efficient. On balance, however, we are very pleased with Amber's management of our application.

Amber Arwine was clear, concise, and articulate throughout the entire process. This marks my third closing with Rate, and Amber has consistently been professional, caring, and responsive, she returned every call whenever I had questions. After working with her three times, I have nothing but positive things to say about both her and Rate. Highly recommend!

I rate them highly, mainly because I lack experience with other lenders. With this being said, my experience with Rate have been great. My only complaint are minor waits on further explanations, but they eventually do come.

Everyone that I worked with throughout the entire project was so helpful. The pre approval process was quick and easy. During the closing process everyone kept in close contact with me, I understood the next steps in the process and the app was great and provided great articles/information.

Overall, Rate was excellent! Felt like there was clear dedications to transparency of all documents and reasons for tasks at hand. The Rate team was dedicated to exploring all options, from what programs/grants I could apply, to assisting with insurance quotes and more. I think the only hiccup I faced was nearing the end of my closing. Mainly delays in communications on the status of the final cost of closing. While this seems mainly due to the Title company, the late response almost resulted in a wire running late. Fortunately, with a call to my bank, the wire was pushed through without issue, but this last-minute minor hiccup resulted in a fair amount of stress.

Amber is the consummate professional - I’ve worked with her for a number of years and multiple mortgages, and will continue to rely on and recommend her indefinitely
