I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience with our mortgage lender Zacary! From the very beginning, he was incredibly helpful, responsive, and patient with all of our questions. He made what could have been a stressful and overwhelming process feel so much easier, and he kept us informed every step of the way.
He truly went above and beyond to help us get into our new home, and we always felt like we were in good hands. We are so grateful for all of his hard work, dedication, and guidance throughout the entire process. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to buy a home!

Zac was amazing with guiding our difficult refinance through an absolutely inordinate amount of hoops and problems produced by our old lender. I can't say enough about how helpful and calm he was throughout the process he went so many extra miles in navigating this through to success. Our previous lender had significant internal problems that required extensive paperwork and time delays waiting for resolution on their end and Zac himself had transitioned to Rate during this time period and because he was so great and helpful, we moved our refinance along with him. Regarding Rate as a lender, they have been absolutely fantastic, modern, and incredibly easy to deal with and their online tools are clear and user friendly. I would highly recommend them as a lender, and Zac went so far above and beyond for us, I cannot express enough appreciation.

I worked with zac since I moved back to rhodeisland October 2025. Once I reached out he gave me a clear path due to some credit issues and bills to pay. I reached out to shop around and its staggering how other companys dont lay it out straight. Or they will give you a false pre approval. We worked on my hurdles and every step of the way he checked in with me and we updated untill the day was here 6 months later. Let me tell you even though that day came it wasnt easy. I loaded zac and his team with a property that was going through some issues and had to sell so communication was slow from the sellers. Inspection issues were spotted almost missed our appraisal date due to repairs taking to long and took extra time. Extentions, etc even though it wasnt there fault they checked in multiple times a day and facillitates all timelines and communications. They were the bulldogs, they put the pressure on. Kept in contact made calls and moves on a sunday and holidays, late at night. All to get us funded and closed. Today we took ownership of our house. If it wasnt for our team here I would have jumped off the newport bridge by now. Best rate, best customer service and mostly best real connection being treated like a family not just a number or bracket.
