Matthew McDevitt and the team at Rate are awesome! I was kept informed of every step of the way and I had many questions on the process of buying a home with a conventional 30 year loan as a first-time buyer. Matthew always responded with a clear answer and was available through phone, text, and email. The website at Rate works well (in the US) and makes it easy to sign and access your documents. The team coordinated with the other parties involved like the realtor, insurance, and title company most of whom were part of their group of affiliated companies so the communication was smooth. Felt like concierge service all the way.

Refinancing is never someone’s idea of a good time but Matthew made it as stress free as possible. With our initial mortgage company we were blindsided and yes’d to death while buying our house. We ended up feeling like we got taken advantage of. Matt’s transparency, candidness and experience made us feel comfortable in our decision to refinance with him over other companies. I’m confident we got the best deal for the best price at the time we were refinancing.
