Mike is the best! He straight up gave me the best rate without any games. He was completely honest throughout the process. I really didn’t think we could get our loan done as quickly as Mike did! No hiccups, just follow through to get it done. Very happy with Mike and Rate’s service. Not only is he good at what he does but he’s a super nice guy! Would highly recommend!

We worked with Mike to purchase our house in 2007, and have gone back to him for three refinances as rates have dropped over the years. He gave us a lot of options, and crunched the numbers to make sure we understood the whole loan. The loans he got for us were straightforward because that was what we wanted: basic 30-year fixed, no hidden payments, no prepayment penalties, etc. He is very responsive, and is good about monitoring his clients’ rates, to let them know when it might be worthwhile to consider a refinance. He sends a newsletter several times a year with tidbits of helpful advice for homeowners. He has great people working for him as well. He was recommended to us by a coworker, and we in turn have recommended him to several others.

Mike and the whole Cobalt team made the buying process a pleasure.
