I was referred to Walter by our real estate agent and had a great experience working with him. We had several different scenarios in mind for our loan needs and Walter helped us understand how our monthly payments might look in each case. The process to get prequalified was pretty easy and really helped us to know what budget we should set in our home search. I would recommend Walter for your mortgage lending needs!
We were recommended to Walter through a friend & if you're thinking about purchasing a home, please do yourself a favor and start with him! From our first conversation, we knew we were in excellent hands. As first time home buyers, we had A TON of questions, and Walter was extremely patient while answering every single one of them. He really took great care of us through the entire process & kept us informed through every step of the way; there were absolutely no surprises. He guided us through the pre-approval process & once we actually started finding homes we were interested in, even helped strengthen our offers by getting us pre-approved all the way through one of his team's underwriters. We changed real estate agents midway through the process & Walter made time to meet with them to ensure that the transition was a smooth one. He was so responsive & also managed to get us locked in at an excellent rate (during a time where rates were definitely getting worse). I can't recommend him/his team highly enough & really appreciate everything he's done for us. And, as a final note, we picked up the keys to our new home this weekend! WOOO!

Walter is a quintessential professional. I could not have asked to work with a better loan officer. Walter has come through yet again! Walter was informative, patient and available, and our refinance closed much faster than I though it would (less than a month, I believe!). I also love how they use technology for signing all the initial disclosures (so super easy to initial and sign documents) and the Notary Public they sent to our house for in-person signing of papers was great. I have worked with Walter to refinance my mortgage a couple of times. He and his team give great rates, are responsive and easy to work with through the mortgage process. All terms are clearly articulated up front and they explain the process and documentation requirements really well too. Most importantly, Walter keeps his client’s interests foremost. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a refinance.
Walter was extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and communicative. He made sure our refinance went through successfully, personally calling to follow up at major milestones and making himself available when we needed to call in with a question during signing. Hard to imagine anything else we would have wanted out of the process or experience.

Patience is a virtue, and boy did Walter have patience in spades! I reached out to Walter back in 2019 to consider starting the refinance process, and over the course of home updates, a tumultuous presidential election cycle, and of course, the pandemic and subsequent lockdown in 2020, we didn't actually get around to enlisting Walter's services until 17 months later! During this entire time, Walter was in contact with us, keeping us apprised of the market and where mortgage rates were trending. When we finally got the application going, he was able to get us an amazing lock period at a tremendous rate. Walter's exceptional service, responsiveness, attention to detail and ability to simplify a complicated process were truly remarkable. He is a terrific mortgage professional and an all-around great person, and his team is top notch as well. I feel like a broken record, but I would no doubt enlist his services again if the opportunity arose and would highly recommend him to anyone going down this mortgage journey!

Walter and his team helped my husband and I get our mortgage during the COVID-19 pandemic. He gave us good advice when we were trying to get pre-approved, and gave great advice when trying to navigate through the pandemic. We got pre-approved early this year and made an offer right before the Bay Area shut down and it felt like a rollercoaster ride, but he and his team worked hard and we were able to buy our home! Everything was done online, and the only time we had to face anyone was during the signing with a notary. With the whole COVID mess we were able to close in a matter of 34 days and we locked in a great rate! Walter was referred to us by a family member and I would also refer Walter to anyone who is looking for a mortgage.

Walter provides an excellent and lightning fast experience. I originally financed a housing mortgage with Walter 3 years ago and recently he proactively emailed me about a refinance option that will significantly lower my current rate. I agreed and started the process. Everything moved along very quickly (under 2 weeks) and Walter responded to all of my questions and concerns within the hour via email. Overall, the whole experience was completely frictionless and I highly recommend Walter to anyone.

Walter was recommended to us by our real estate agent a couple years ago. He was very helpful and responsive, and his rates were great. We wound up going with the builder's lender due to very large credit Walter couldn't match. But now a few years later Walter was there for us to get us the best refinance rate we could find. Process was very easy due to GR's mostly online forms. Some documents needed to be signed with the notary in person, but signing process was much easier than our original loan. In summary, anything home finance related is a pain in the butt, but Walter helped make the process as painless as possible.
