Kevin was great to work with. We had a few hiccups through the process (like with any house buying) and he was quick to work through everything. When things needed to be done quickly he was quick to respond and get us everything we needed to close. Through and through we are very happy. Thanks Kevin!

The refinance was fast and easy
Kevin is great! We worked with him for our initial mortgage financing in 2024 and again in 2025 for our refinance. He responded promptly, answered all my questions, and was easy to work with in every way. If you have the choice, I'd recommend working with him for your mortgage needs. I expect we'll work with him again for any future mortgage needs.

Working with Kevin Nelson and his Guaranteed Rate team was the smoothest part of the entire process. They communicated very well and made a complicated process seem simple. They were always responsive and available for questions.
The process was easy. Using the "Rate" website had it issues. I forgot my password and it was quite painful to get my account unlocked. It took several days and multiple phone call for something that shouldn't be difficult. Also, I submitted "Tasks" that were assigned to us and I would get emails (sometimes multiple after re-sending the info needed) from people requesting the information I had already submitted. Very annoying. Despite this everyone was very friendly and professional.
Kevin made the process seamless; he communicated clearly and promptly via, text, email and phone call. This was my 4th time purchasing a home and it was by far the best experience I have ever had. I look forward to doing business Kevin and the Rate.com again in the near future. You've gained a lifelong customer.
